BP's 86-year old uncle is coming to visit and "stay awhile."
Don't ask me what that means. He lives in California
and wants to move to Indiana because it's cheaper to live here.
The man has his four daughters in California who
have offered assistance, both monetary and otherwise,
but he's being stubborn I guess. So he's coming out here
to see how the cold weather affects his asthma.
(It's not cold here yet so I'm thinking he'll stay thru
Thanksgiving at least.)
He'll probably stay most of the time with my mother-in-law.
He wants to buy a house here and that's what he'll spend
his time on--house hunting. It's got to have plenty of room
and a garage. He has more tools than BP--if that's possible.
He has a veritable library of engineering and technical books
(He's a retired engineer.) He said he wants to join a dance club.
Quite the lady's man. My m-i-l thinks the reason he wants
to move out here is to get away from one of his
girlfriends. He's the uncle we visited on our
California trip two years ago.
