what she needs is a telescopic lens and a shutter speed of 1.63mil and really she needs to backlight it from the frontbecause the sun was obvioulsy falling below the libran meridian

I happen to think the blur in the wings is kind of cool since it's not like they're not blurry when you're looking at them.... the little buggers are so fast!
My brother took pictures of a firecracker exploding that aren't blurry. You could probably apply the same settings to a hummingbird, but even then I'm not sure the wings wouldn't be slightly blurry.
