I hate the fact that so many schools and communities have distorted the true meaning of Halloween and negated its existence with "Fall Celebrations." Sheesh.
Some begging of free candy . . . witches, vampires, goblins and black cats and people go all Christian-y on you.
Give a vampire kiss to someone you love. Remember Carou Vamp? Didn't she make bats in the Book Shelf?

I miss Carou. Well, if Christians can't have CHRISTmas in the public schools they rest of ya'll can't have Halloween. It's a two edged sword.
Fuck off, Mel
hehe
Uh, should I point out that Christmas's date is borrowed from the pagan feast of Mithras (a celebration of the Winter Solstice)? Should I also point out that Halloween is technically the eve of the CHristian celebration of the dead--All Saints' Day? So Halloween is as Christian as Christmas, and Christmas is as pagan as Halloween.
Rosa,
They'd just say you were "of the Devil."
I didn't say I was against Halloween. I was just pointing out the reasoning. Geeze.
I'm still pissed because I dressed up to hand out candy here at work last night, and we only got one trick-or-treator all night! Now, we have three big bags of candy laying around the house.
"the true meaning of Halloween..."
The true meaning of Ha-halloween is right up there with the importance of the true meaning of blowing your nose.
Emms, In Aimee's school they are un allowed to have a halloween celebration so instead she had a favorite fairy tale charachter day. So there school board. Lubee
Omg just read my comment. Aimee the teacher would be horrified at her mothers post lol.
