The sidewalk's edge

LP did something punishable by being grounded to the house/yard for a week.

He's told me for the thousandth time that he's "bored--there's nothing to do." Big deal---you made your bed, Buddy.

Anyway he told me that he was going to go outside and sit. So I catch him dragging a chair to the very edge of the sidewalk so he could watch "hot females drive by and wave to me."

That is too funny. He's pushing the envelope by sitting just..at..the..edge..of...the...yard.

ha for his birthday you should get him "where the sidewalk ends"

LP can't be that bad a teenager, he's listening to you, doing his punishment, and didn't try to punch you or anything.

my new goal in life is to spend time every day working with kids whose only rebellion is sitting at the edge of the sidewalk.

I love this picture.
You should print it out and frame it...then give it to him when he becomes a father.
