Emma, I think you'd actually like Fried Green Tomatoes.

I really liked Dead Man walking. I thought the film actually did a really good job not taking a position on the death penalty, which apparently is not what Tim Robbins intended. Anyway, that's a movie that I'm glad I saw once, but don't ever want to see again.

I liked Crash.

Schindler's List ... another movie I'm glad I saw once, but don't care to see again.

I loved Titanic, but understand why some people would hate it.

I HATED Million Dollar Baby.

I've only ever seen bits and pieces of Saving Private Ryan. I really don't want to see it all the way through.

I HATED The Last Temptation of Christ, but kinda liked the book. I don't think the author intended any blasphemy. He just wanted to show that probably Jesus' ultimate temptation was the temptation to choose to live just like any other man. I think the makers of the movie intended it to be disrespectful and blasphemous.

Gotta recommend Dead Man Walking too, but I don't think I could ever see it again.

The only one of those I've seen was Beaches. I thought I was the only person on earth that hadn't seen Titantic.

I have seen every movie on your list except for Roger Moore as Bond, Das Boot, Million Dollar Baby, Crash (but I still intend to, at some point), Last Temptation, Boys Don't Cry and Full Metal Jacket. Some are very good and some are just fun (I love slasher flicks as long as there's some sort of story line).

I used to watch Titantic over and over again because Kate Winslet's naked boobies are in it and I was like, 12.

Boys Don't Cry is one of the HRC's oh-it-moved-mountains films, but it's depressing and sad and I will never watch it again. Much like The Laramie Project.

Yeah, Penn was incredible in the movie. Forget about the actor and embrace the acting!

You should READ "Fried Green Tomatoes . . ." It's a mighty fine book.

I have to agree with, I was going to say you should see "Dead Man Walking", great flick and definitely is amazing how it ends up not really taking any stand on the death penalty. It lets you take away from it what you will.
