Easter Dinner

We’re going to my oldest sister’s house for Easter. I think most everyone will be there. This year I’m the some-sort-of-salad, and dessert person. I think I’ll make a chocolate cake, but I’m not sure what kind of salad I’ll bring—probably either a Greek salad with lots of kalamata olives and feta, or an orzo pasta salad with tomatoes and a lemony dressing.
Are you bringing anything interesting to your Easter dinner?

I REALLY miss the kids at times like Easter. I miss making Easter baskets and dyeing eggs and all that. Dave is not appreciative of any efforts to make him an Easter basket, I've learned...

Rosa -- Thanks! My Spanish sucks, I meant that it is my anniversary. :)

Emma -- I once had a great orzo salad (I love orzo) which had sun dried tomatoes, feta cheese, cashews, and fresh mint and was tossed with a lemon vinaigrette. It was gooooooooood.

H and I have changed plans and are going to celebrate our "anniversary" on Saturday so will be going to my niece's on Sunday for dinner and I'll be bringing roasted asparagus with balsamic and parmesan, some sort of appetizer (thinking now about that orzo salad mentioned above) and might be bringing strawberry shortcake depending on what dessert my sister decides to bring.
