While BP was in seeing Iron Man, I was seeing Sex and the City.
I both loved it and hated it.
LOVED IT:
Loved seeing the Girls again! It was like a reunion.
Loved the clothes.
Loved the old Carrie quips/puns.
The Charlotte-shitting-her-pants-in-Mexico was funny.
Loved the soundtrack
HATED IT:
That fucking meatball Big. A fucking loon. Big damn baby. Man up. So you’ve been married three times: CARRIE HASN’T and she shouldn’t feel guilty—or that she was contributing to his Assholiness—by wanting a big wedding in the New York Public Library.
The Louise character felt like a throwaway—just so that they could cast Jennifer Hudson. She added nothing to the storyline.
That big dummy Samantha. Can’t a woman tend to herself AND be in a relationship?? She’s just a pussy who wants always to be the one who ends the relationship.

I didn't really get the whole Jennifer Hudson character either, really no point than to get her in the movie, she must have some great agent, she isn't landing these roles based on her Oscar in a musical.
I loved the movie, supposedly the Big/ Carrie wedding was taken from Page Six from some social couple, who knows.
But I loved it entirely even it's faults, I would even give it an A+, of course, for the type of movie it was.

The Jennifer Hudson character was added because the original series too some heat for not having any African American folks. Anyhoo. Love the series. Loved the movie with the exception of the blue bird*** Miss you.
