I've decided to take off work tomorrow to head to Menard's and get my Spring order of mulch, peat moss, and other gardening accoutrements.
I might insist that BP take off too and go to Panera's with me before Menard's. He's not a coffee person--he loves tea.

that sounds like a wonderful idea. a big load of mulch and wood chips makes me a happy person. top that off with a green iced tea from paneras and i am in heaven.
I could introduce him to someone who likes to drink tea!
I just planted ten hostas in a raised two tier bed that we've had no luck getting anything to grow in-it's extremely shady and now we're in the middle of a drought. Lots of fresh dirt, plenty of digging and a sore back-these suckers better grow.
so how was your day off?
And now the freaking squirrels had a great late night romp thru the beds last night. I'm going to Lowe's for some hardware cloth for them the chew on.
