Garden pictures

1. The frilly zinnias Schell likes--only they're just about spent
2. Regular zinnias that are just butterfly magnets. everytime I walk by ten-fifteen buterflies fly up and away
3. This is just ONE single sunflower--with about twenty different flowerheads!
4. Another angle of same sunflower

i love your sunflower and your little set up with the bird cage and bird bath. your grass looks a bit dry though. would you like some of my rain?
tomorrow morning i am going to go out and take a picture of my morning glories that have taken over my side garden. but i am not mad about that at all.

Emma only has one bathroom!

But, she has a yard and I do not.

My garden drowned this summer. It's life flashed before it's eyes and everything, like a real life drowning. It's a bloomin shame.

I really like the watering can hanging from the hook. If you don't mind, I might steal that idea for next year.

Clanky,

My poor pitiful plants fried this summer :(

schell,
I've also punctured a little hole in the bottom of an old watering can. Then freeze some water in freezer bags or butter containers, etc. Remove the chunks of ice and put in the watering can. As the water slowly melts it will drip from the hole into the bird bath and even more birds will use the bath. Creatures love the sound of dripping water better than still water.

Emma, thanks for the photos. I love your garden photos...and your Nesta photos and your gnome photos. Great idea for the bird bath dripper!
