Ha ha . . .good for Hillary
During a radio call-in on WOKQ-FM, Sen. Hillary Clinton was asked what the United States can do about Sanjaya Malakar, the television show's underdog candidate who critics say lacks any shred of talent. "That's the best question I've been asked in a long time," Clinton said. "Well, you know, people can vote for whomever they want. That's true in my election, and it's true on 'American Idol."'

This whole democracy thing confuses me. Sometimes the wrong people - i.e., those I don't support - seem to win. Isn't there a better way?
Yes, Elu there is a better way. The world would be better off if it let me, and me alone, pick leaders and set the agenda for the world.
....but picking me, obviously.
I recently ran across a definition of democracy as:
"Three wolves and one lamb deciding on lunch"
"Yes, Elu there is a better way. The world would be better off if it let me, and me alone, pick leaders and set the agenda for the world."
Isn't that the current administration's policy?
