It's colder than a witch's tit in a brass bra today. 34 degrees. BP is working on a project in the garage so I had to park the car outside. There was frost on the windshield. Grrrrr.

Last night we went to high school open house. Would someone mind sending a clue to my teenaged son about the importance of education in this society? Grrrr.

Emma, would you be mad if I said I didn't like this blogger template? Your other one was better.

LP will come around when he hears there will be deferments for college students when the draft is enacted.

Hey, I'm sure that there is another explanation, but in our Republican family Roby is a Senior in a five year plan and H.S. Senior Andrew, totally on his own, has been sending out college applications.

I know it's too facile to assume that because he's seen his parents work hard and and heard his parents prattle on about doing it all yourself and not depending on outside agencies, but who knows, it could be the explanation.

Not that you people here aren't hard workers and motivated to succeed. But is that the message your kids hear you preaching? What message are your kids hearing you preach? You don't have to answer here; it'll just get ripped apart by your detractors, as will this comment...

Moosey,
You're right (as usual) Maybe it's because I'm a drunkard (Mel Gibson is my soul mate) and a crack whore. Maybe I'm not a good role model.
Maybe he thinks he doesn't need to be educated because I'll leave him my cocaine business in the will.
Or maybe it's because I read the Enquirer.
