LP and I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man’s Chest yesterday. I hated it. Oh, Johnny Depp was good. But it was too dark, too watery, and too dirty. The “people” on The Flying Dutchman were absolutely gross. I hated Davy Jones aka Octopussy. And everyone had bad teeth except for Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly. Blech. I liked the first one much more.

I couldn't agree more. We hated it too. Jonny is however, always pleasent to look at. I love him in eyeliner.....mmmm Lu
lLiked the second one i liked bill nigheys tenticles living a life of their own ,and jack davenport is a bit of a sex god beard or no beard.The only thing I really haed was the jamaican voodoo womans accent that was right up there with dick van dykes in mary poppins
I agree on the voodoo woman's accent--bleah.
Um, Emma, I think pirates are supposed to have bad teeth--not much brushing and flossing ya know.
I found some of the Davey Jones folk um, a bit ew--but loved some--that hammerhead guy was great.
Overall, though, I liked it, but I do think I liked the first more.
I enjoyed Dead Man's Chest enough to see it twice!
Although, as usual, I have problems with certain plot elements: Like, right at the beginning, why would a prison island bother with coffins to dispose of dead prisoners?
you'd think the voodoo woman would be able to aster a decent jamaican accentbut she sounds like someone whos only heard one third hand done by a pakastani who was taught by a german

I still haven't seen it, dammit!!!
The ride was better.
